We have all been anxiously awaiting your news!!!!! My dh is one of 9 with 7 boys and 2 girls...his brothers wanted to get a pool going about the sex of your baby.    

They are all very excited and happy for you and your family. My fil says the bigger the family... the bigger the celebrations and the more love to share...and with lots of boys someone always to paint the garage in the summers!

Marybeth this is hilarious! My dh suggested doing the exact same thing - at our parish no less!!

That is so sweet - thank you! Personally I can't imagine having all those older brothers. My girls will be well protected from any young men with improper ideas- I'm sure! In fact my oldest son (21) is going to be the baby's godfather and he told her last night (speaking to my belly) "plan to be a nun sweetheart!"

Mary you are so right. I am amazed at the gifts I have been given. I remarked to my dh just last week how I felt so unworthy to be allowed to have these children - how incredibly precious they are!!

Well, we already have given Maria Faustina a nickname here in IL. We call her "Double" for being your double digit baby. My bils think she needs a pink sleeper with a 10 on the back...they are working on it..I tell you they get such a kick out of this baby...it is very sweet...I guess when you have 7 boys and 2 girls it isn't very common...they feel a real kinship with the Quigleys.
Also, my dh says Double is very blessed b/c his oldest brother is his godfather too. He says it was always "very cool" to tell people your brother is your godparent.
