How wonderful!
And I agree, Elizabeth. How things have changed since we first started homeschooling our oldest 12 years ago!(about the time we got our first computer and the old "Oregon Trail" was the hottest thing around!) The resources available today are amazing! |

I still love that game and I have fond memories of dh and the big boys (who were little then) binge playing for hours and reading On to Oregon!

Well, whoever wants it (Aaaaammmmmyyyyy, it's calling your naaaame) (or maybe a couple of you would like to share the duties), let me know and I'll give you the password for the one I've already set up. I started it before I knew Scott was going to be offered this job in California! My computer time has been seriously walloped since he left. |

Oooh, aaaah, this is TOTALLY up my alley. I was the one that scanned it in the first place so that EWTN can now share the wealth...last night I just watched their biography and now this? I hear my name being called.
I have to look at other similar blogs to see what kind of chunks are you talking about, and is it a daily, weekly, what? I hate to take something on and leave for vacation and abandon the project. |

Oh goody goody!!! Jenn, how awesome that it was YOU who scanned it for us all in the first place! If you'd like to take over the blog I'll send you the password as soon as I remember it.
I had planned to paste in whatever passage went with that particular feast day, or for longer seasons parceling the passages out over however many days. As you can see, I didn't even make it to the first day—just got as far as the intro. You could break it up any way you choose.
And yes, I do think Wordpress lets you upload pictures & files. Of course, if you'd rather use another platform, you could just start afresh somewhere else—there isn't much there to transfer over, LOL.
Oh, I'm thrilled. I have good ideas and great intentions but I'm weak in the follow-through!

Lisa, I'll PM you my email address and just whenever you can...no rush. I don't think I'll do anything until I get back from vacation, so you have some time.
I'm pondering another idea...does everyone want ONLY this book, or how about cuttings from her other writings related to the Liturgical Year. She has some other good works that aren't as widely known. After I post the sections on one part of the year, it would be nice to pull from the other books. Or would it be better for a concentrated one book at a time approach?

Oh, and Lissa, if you have lots of ideas and weak follow-through, I'd love to see the ideas that you leave behind, because the ones do follow through are tremendous. Giving us a peek at your family, at your home school, at your writing...you are pretty amazing. You put me to shame with just one child.
