Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Well Margot,

I was just talking to Cay about this at the Georgia conference. My mind set was like FIAR's also. I was glad to be able to purchase the set of books with one volume.

I think with Catholic Mosaic I would be really interested in purchasing monthly packages of the books. This would allow me the flexibility and freedom within my regular hs schedule to choose the months I could participate in CM with out the hassles of internet searching for the books, making sure they arrived on time etc...

I'm just now ordering Mosaic (B/W sounded appealing Cay...for the $ difference) and the ability to buy the books as a package is VERY appealing. 2 clicks and they're both on the way and all i have to do is dance in joyful expectation for a few days...OH and explain to my husband the "more books" thing!

Blessings to all,

I second Leslie's suggestion of making the books available in packages by the month. That breaks it down into more manageable chunks , but you still save on leg-work and shipping!

Cay,

I am now just thinking about buying this instead of some of other things I was planning to buy from CHC for my school year.

These some of the questions that I need to find the answers for. How often are the lessons set for (once a week,3 times a week, or 5 days a week, on feast days? How long will it take to do every lesson? How do I adjust it for my almost 4 yo so that he will take an interest, and my 10yo so that he can glean all he can from it? (that one is a biggie) Am I to do this istead of my religion program or as a family enrichment? What other subjects can I include in it--history, language arts, art, etc... Will this be too much for an overwhelmed mom? How will I make it fit in our day? How will this encourage our family to grow in our faith? What is this notebook and can I see examples? How easy are these books to get at the library? What books am I going to "have to" buy? (Another biggie since we are always under financial strain--I'm not saying it isn't worth it, but I may have to buy the guide this year and just buy things throughout the year and actually utilize the program next year.)

HTH,

Beth
