Thanks everyone for your prayers! You're , too!
I have to share with you - not only did Steve's car need a new radiator - my van need new brakes and transmission and steering work!
On top of this - which THANKS BE TO GOD my dh did all the repairs minus 1 that can wait a little - our garage door broke! My dh has been trying to fix it for the past two hours - and GOD BLESS THEM - some of our neighbors came over to help.
I'm thinking, "Hmmmm...something good MUST be comin'! Look at all these obstacles!"

Maria,
You're so inspiring!
We're going through a similar "everything is breaking" phase here. My dh (another Steve) is also quite handy, so we're fixing things slowly, but more is breaking than we're fixing. I hadn't thought of this as a spiritual obstacle, but perhaps it is.
Your positive attitude is a big help to me.

Hooray, Maria! Keep on truckin'!!!
We just got a new dishwasher (after three years of none) and then our dryer broke and our washing machine is going. So I know what you mean about everything breaking..
Remember at camping when Steve and several of the other gentleman had to fix my old suburban which wouldn't start?

Congratulations!! I am sure it will be tough being without him for such long stretches but obviously God had a hand in everything.

Hey everyone!
Steve leaves this am for his month-long training. I've been up since 4:20am and didn't realize how much I'm going to miss him.
Our family is planning to go to 7:30am Mass for First Friday and then we will drop him off to go with his trainer.
Yesterday, I was so excited for him and for the great possibilities ahead. This morning, I was crying in bed as I lay next to him...  Which one am I?
I really am excited for him though and wanted to thank you all for your prayers as we embark on this new adventure!
