You are all such faithful, generous pray-ers, I would like to ask for prayers for my only sibling, a younger sister who has been married since Oct 2001, they have been trying to have children since the beginning and still not blessed with a child yet.
I have five, I fall pregnant easily, I feel guilty almost that I am so blessed in this area and she struggles to conceive one!
She has no history at all that could indicate why except a painful, first period day. She has been seeing a NaproTechnology (cutting-edge technology, Catholic orientated) doctor for a year now and it was discovered that she has prolactinoma, which is high levels of the breastfeeding hormone usually due to a benign tumor on the pituitary gland, but she has been on the drug to lower it and it does go down but still no obvious physical fertility signs - she feels that there is something else contributing to it all, I think her doctor suspects so too.
She had a gynecologist appointment yesterday and they will soon (within 90days) do keyhole surgery to thoroughly investigate her womb - we don't know whether to pray that something will show up that is treatable or not! It is so frustrating not to know what is going on, you see.
Could you pray for this dear sister of mine, that she will conceive and know the joys of motherhood, Carmen is her name, I cannot imagine her pain, I know it is there, she can hardly talk about it some days.

This is such a hard cross to bear. I have a very close friend who has gone through all this. I will keep Carmen and her husband in my prayers.

praying for carmen (love that name, my grandmother's nickname (her full name was carmelita)). i have several family and friends who got married in 2001 too that still don't have children. it is heartbreaking to see them yearn for those babies....

I would like to sincerely thank you dear ladies for praying for my sister Carmen.
On the feast of the Holy Name of Mary (12th Sept) she had exploritory surgery with a very orthodox Catholic doctor. She really expected nothing to show....instead they found her ovaries covered with adhesions and attached to the wall of the abdominal cavity. Upon injecting dye in the fallopian tubes, they were found to be a bit 'stagnant' and they were cleared. This surgery has been deemed, 'very successful for a positive outcome.'
When she was 14 she suffered very severe pain, mid cycle and had scans done at the time, it would seem it may be connected to that incident, long ago.
We are now very, very hopeful! After 5 years, this is good news, thank you so much for your prayers so far, I truly hope we have good news to share with you all in the near future!
