I had a prenatal appt. this afternoon and after 5 very long agonizing minutes we finally were able to hear the baby's heartbeat! Once we finally found it was strong and steady but up to that point all three of us (me, dh and my dear friend Sharon- who is also a CRNP and does my prenatals) were starting to get a bit worried.
But we're doing the happy dance now...and I thought I would share my joy.

Praise God. So good to hear. After your hectic weekend travel and stay in our hot dry climate I was worreid about you anyway and we would have just been so heartbroken if anything was wrong.

Yes the nausea is finally gone and I'm into the second trimester (I'm 15 weeks).

No, Elizabeth, I just added the baby to my signature yesterday...I had my doctor's appt. last week and feel brave enough to start telling...everything looked great, strong heartbeat and good measurements...So relieved to see it after our miscarriage earlier this year. Thanks for the congrats! And sorry to divert from your GREAT news, Michele!!
