Thank you Helen so much; I've been pushing away a couple years worth of thoughts that I should be wearing skirts more. I don't wear them infrequently... but it's not exclusive. I pray for the financial ability to make a full transition soon as my husband is supportive of this also.

I can think of one other reason why one should wear skirts. In one of Paul's epistles he tells us not to scandalize others by what we do (e.g. I wouldn't eat meat in front of someone offended by such a practice).

No one is scandalized by a woman wearing a skirt. But there are some who are by women wearing pants.

I have found that I'm better able to evangelize as a Catholic to certain groups by wearing skirts.

The Jehovah Witnesses who used to come to my door were always very impressed with the fact that I was in a skirt and I believe this led their hearts to be more willing to hear what I had to say.

Some Protestant groups are big on women in skirts only. By seeing a Catholic woman who takes modesty/femininity seriously also... such people may be more receptive to hearing the FULLNESS OF TRUTH that is the Catholic Church.
