Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I had it a lovely bed and breakfast and it is so, so good! I drink tea about 10 times a year at best, but this is my new favorite.

I'm with Erica. This is my favorite, and I drink it when I'm cold. The rest of the year I love my coffee!

I'm picky about brand too. I love the TAZO teas I've tried, but I don't think they have anything like caramel or apple.

I'm a black tea girl over here. And Plantation Mint. My mom got me hooked on hot tea as a kid - I could have endless amounts of tea, but only one cup of hot chocolate on a given night. She stocked black and mint, and that was that. I've tried other teas, but I always end up back in black. And mint.

That sounds really good - I should give that a try. On a vacation a while back I bought some bulk tea - orange creamsicle. With some cream it was amazing - really had that creamsicle flavor - ahhh, memories of childhood. Anyway it is gone and can't find anything like it locally. Need to make a trip again.

You all have to try this:

Mix 1 bag of Echinacea tea (I use Yogi brand..) and 1 bag of Licorice tea (Yogi again is best but Stash is cheaper...)... use about 12 ounces of water and seep flavors for at LEAST 5 minutes!

It's my very favorite, absolute yummiest tea EVER!!!

However, licorice is a love or hate thing so if you're not a fan... you're not a fan. But it does provide a natural sweet aftertaste making there no need for honey!

I see I'm the only green tea drinker so far! (Although I love licorice tea too!)
I used to drink only black but when I started having heart problems my doc said no more black tea, but green tea is okay. It took me a while to learn to love it, but now I do.

Oh that sounds lovely. I don't think I've had any like that. But a websearch shows that there are a few out there that sound divine.

Becky - I shouldn't have caffeine.. fairly low amounts will trigger a migraine.. but I still have green tea with chinese food. As long as I have it with food and not too much I can avoid a headache. I love the Jasmine Green tea Although my daughter and I saw some TAZO brand green teas that looked worth trying.. one was lemongrass and spearmint and the other was ginger and pear.

I just wish TAZO would make their chocolate chai tea without black tea in it.

You are right about that, and I tend to be in the don't care for it crowd.

Yes, I was surprised to see that one not being chosen more. It has so many health benefits.

I'm a boring iced tea drinker here! We always have a pitcher on hand.

For hot tea I like the herbal blends, but rarely drink hot liquids.

Ditto for much of the year - but not winter.

Black tea- I learned to drink it in India, so I am afraid it is laden with milk and white sugar!

As far as a brand, I usually use Tetley, but over Christmas my brother sent beautiful tea from France, and my daughter bought me Twinings Irish Breakfast loose tea (it packs a caffeine punch!), so I am kind of spoiled now!

Do be careful with Licorice. It's one of those herbs (the true licorice) that if used continuously can cause health problems. I believe it can raise blood pressure and if over used for a long period of time, stopping taking it doesn't correct the problem

My favorites are fruit flavored herbal teas. We have about 40 different flavors here, from Celestial Seasonings, to Stash, to London something or other.

I have converted our children to tea with milk and sugar. My Dad introduced me to milk in my tea as a child, and it is my favorite way to drink tea. For a long time I did not like hot tea, it would make me nauseous, but within the last couple of years I have really developed a liking for tea.

My Mom has a "tea drawer" in their kitchen which always has held great fascination for us all, loving the adventure of picking out the flavor we were going to drink. When we built our house and had a new kitchen this last year, I immediately chose a drawer for our tea drawer.

One of my favorite memories of homeschooling, and living at home, was tea times. My Mom would have a snack for us with tea during our homeschool days, it was always a fun break in the day. Now our children all get excited when it's announced we are going to have tea, they love to run and pick out which flavor they want.

Two new favorites among the children have been Bigelow's Eggnoggin' and Celestial Seasonings' Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride. I think my all-time favorite is Celestial Seasonings' Country Peach Passion. It was my grandmother's favorite, and it is mine too.

Does anybody remember back when Celestial Seasonings used to have quotes on the tag of their tea bags, back when they had tags? It was fun to get out a tea bag for your cup of tea, kinda like opening a fortune cookie.

I don't have a tea drawer, but I do keep a basket in the pantry, so that we can pull all the flavors out at once to browse.

I also prefer my tea with milk and sugar. One of my favorite teas is the masala chai that I had at a local Indian restaurant (now closed ). I need to find a recipe so that I can replicate it!

Yup...speaking of Celestial Seasonings, heading to their factory in a few weeks for a field trip and to pick up the tea for this forum give-away. It is a really great food & manufacturing tour. If you are ever in Colorado it is a must do.

Yogi tea still has quotes on its tags, but they are all Eastern spiritual motivational phrases. I get a kick out of them because it is all so over the top.

Yogi also does a freebie where you can send someone a greeting with two tea bags inside -- free. (well, I guess it wouldn't be much of a freebie if it weren't free ). That's kind of fun.

Yes and yes, Pilgrim! We recently had our kitchen remodeled and one of my priorities was a tea drawer.    I love it!

We still do tea time here. I always drink tea but my kids might have hot coco or warm apple cider instead of tea. I read to them and they enjoy some sort of snack with their beverage. It's always a part of our day that the kids look forward to.

Several years ago I began enjoying loose teas instead of tea bags. Some of the herbal teas that can be purchased in loose form are beautiful. I store them in glass jars so you can see what they look like. This company is a little expensive but you can see what the teas look like. This and this are a couple that I have tried. They also have a green tea that I drink frequently called "sky between the branches". It's less expensive at Upton Tea though.
