I am begging prayers for my Mom!
She is in the hospital right now and will be transferred to hospice, if she holds on, in a day or two.
I spent the weekend with her and Hell (literally) was unleaded on me. I prayed the Chaplet of the Holy Wounds silently over her and had a Priest come in. The devil was not happy! My mother did some very, very mean and hurtful things. I am not sure if I will even be able to go to her burial.
She has had glimpses of reconciling with God.....but there is a spiritual battle for her soul right. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it's really true and has been pretty dramatic!!!!!
Some suggestions for prayers for my Mom or anyone that is sick and in the need of healing (spiritual or physical) are:
Divine Mercy Chaplet (especially at 3pm)
Rosary of the Holy Wounds (read the promises)
The Rosary
The Stations of the Cross

I have been away from my computer today and it was so comforting coming back to this thread. Thanks everyone!
I am praying for decrement for how to handle things now that I am home and removed a bit. So sad!

UPDATE: Betsy told me I could update here.
Betsy's mother passed away this afternoon. Please pray for the repose of her soul and her family's comfort.
I know Betsy will fill in details when she can, but I will share that her mother had a miraculous change of heart and called a priest and received the sacraments of confession, anointing and the Eucharist! Praise God and Deo gratias!
Now it's up to us as a 4Real community to pray her soul to heaven!
Eternal rest, grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Praying for the peaceful repose of her soul. That is wonderful news about her receiving the sacraments!!! Praying for her family as they grieve her passing.

I've been praying, Betsy! What an emotional roller coaster, yet I am so grateful for the blessing to see that Our Lord brings good out of all things! What a tremendous answer to prayer that your mom received those beautiful Sacraments!
We will pray for all of you, and for the repose of the soul of your Mom!
