Ok, I shipped everyone their fabric now. I cut it into 3 and 4 inch strips for you last 3 ladies. I wish I had thought to do that for you too Mel. It probably would have been a better use of the fabric than cutting it into fat quarters first. Rookie mistake.

Don't worry- I'm cool  . I have made three blocks so far, and I have to say the pattern is a delight to work with- very straightforward, and the pictures are so helpful. I'm enjoying my sewing time!

I received my package last week and finally laid out all of the fabric pieces. So pretty!
Janine, how many blocks am I to do? Two?

Hi everyone,
Sorry I've been MIA. We had a stomach bug go through  . I'm only now starting to feel caught up on everything.
Erica, I'm pretty sure I sent enough fabric for 4 blocks with some extra in case you goof up. Make however many you feel up to you can always send back any fabric you don't use. No pressure. I want you to have fun.
Robynn, your blocks came out beautifully. I have not mastered pressing that well yet. I'm going to have to work on that. I end up with poofy seems that don't lay as nice and flat as yours.
Mel, I'm looking forward to getting your blocks back. They're not here yet. If you haven't already, I would appreciate it if you ordered that batting. Thanks.

Mary, I would love to post some pictures. I can't figure out how. When I click the add image button I get a prompt asking for a web address. I have pictures on my phone not a website  . I tried to copy and paste after sending them to myself in an email but that didn't work either. 
I have to hem a pair of boyscout pants for a campout tonight. I'm going to do that right now so I can get back to my quilt blocks.

You as a member can post images that are already uploaded online somewhere - like Photobucket or on a blog. Myself or another moderator can upload jpg images directly. So if you need to do it that way email me the picture(s). Send me a PM so I can give you my address.

Hi ladies.
I hope everyone had a Happy Easter.
I don't know about you but I had to pack up my sewing things and computer to make room at the table for guests. Our spring break is winding down and things are starting to get back into a routine.
I'm just waiting for the last few blocks to be delivered so I can start sewing them together.
We're nearing the home stretch.
Melinda, I did get your blocks and the batting, thank you.
Mary, I will be sending a PM so I can put up a picture of the progress so far. Thanks for the offer.

So I took the plunge and opened a photobucket account. Hopefully this will work.
If I did that right the link should take you to a picture of the quilt blocks to date. I just put them down in random order. I need 7 more blocks returned to me so I can plan a layout and start sewing blocks together. I made the pinwheels using the corers I cut off making the stars. I plan on using the same dark blue for the binding that I used for the sashes between the pinwheels.

Well that's a bummer, I thought for sure the photobucket thing would work.
