Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

The new Bravado (it's called the supreme or something) is totally different than the classic Bravado bras. It is not stretchy, and is very supportive. It's made especially for fuller busts. It is easier to unhook and hook up with one hand than the Goddess. I have both, and I like the Goddess okay, but the Bravado gives a smoother line under clothing.

I do wear a classic Bravado at night for the first few post partum months.

I bought the Danish woolen nursing pads this time and I absolutely love them. I bought a pair of the regular ones in a medium, and a pair of the less expensive ones. The regular ones are much nicer, imo. I like the larger size because it covers more of the breast, and thus doesn't shift around. Also, because it covers so much area, you can't detect it under clothing at all. I think they are fabulous!

This is so true, the Supreme is very smooth and more supportive. It's nicer fabric and you don't see the snaps at the top of the strap like you can with the Basic Bravado, I will probably only wear my Basic around the house and for nightime nursing as well since the stretchy fabric is more comfy for sleeping.

Mary, did you pick something yet??

no! i need to be fitted i think and the lingerie store is 45min away. i'd rather go without the kids, and that means waiting until next weekend when we are baseball-free. then, the store will order what i pick and send it to me. here's hoping they arrive before the baby!

meredith, do you prefer sleeping in a nursing bra?

Mary, I do prefer sleeping in a nursing bra only because I've never found anything else to be supportive enough after my milk comes in and I HAVE to wear pads as I leak all over my sheets It just seems easier and they have always been comfortable enough under my nighties or tee shirts, plus then I can just get up and if I don't get a shower when baby wakes in the morning, I am all ready for the day with a new tee shirt or sweater depending on the season. Can't wait for your birth announcement, what an exciting time!! Blessings
