I stayed in the hospital last night because I was so upset with the head nurse yesterday afternoon. He did so little to help Peter. The next shift came on and the young girl nurse was on fire for Peter's life. She in consultation with both doctors at night drugged him after each storm. I came home at lunch to sleep a little. We now have another stellar head nurse over Peter and they have decided to medicate him beyond the current sedation. We hope this will stop the storms and let his brain rest. Now until Friday is critical. Please keep prayers coming for him. Thank you.

UPDATE

The doctors paralyzed Peter to calm the brain storms to give his brain a chance to stop swelling. The plan is to keep him paralyzed until Sunday. This isn't what we had hoped for, but it is keeping him alive and breathing.
