We pray for atheists every day anyway, but I will pray specifically for your father. I really hope he feels better soon. He is not too old for transplantation if it comes to that.

MacBeth,

I will pray for your dad, for healing both physical and spiritual. It is so hard watching our the health of a parent fail. My fil, also a diabetic, started dialysis about a month ago. It has helped him considerably, though he hates having to go to the dialysis center 3x a week.

My father is also headed for dialysis (has had only one kidney for half his life).
