I am praying, too, Betsy. I like the advice Jenn gave. I would probably have the same issues with my siblings. It is good that you will be with your mom. Stay focused on her, do everything you can, and then have peace.

Betsy, I just checked in and saw this! My prayers are with you and your Mom. I am glad to read that she seems to have stabilized. I will be praying for wisdom for you and graces of conversion and healing for her. Also, that you will be able to have peace in this situation, both now and in the future.

The surgery might ease her pain a bit? Perhaps you should knit a prayer shawl for her.

All of you know how much I love to knit, right? My Mother thinks it is crazy that I knit! I have offered to knit her many thing, but "she's not that type of person to wears shawls!"

I did knit her about a bunch of really nice chemo hats but she didn't like any of them.
