Jenn, oh, you and your family will be in my daily prayers! I just checked in here for the first time in quite a while, and oh,dear! You must still be in a state of shock. I will pray for calm, a successful surgery, and also that you will have a quick recovery. Maybe you will even feel better in general after you recover from the surgery. Prayers, prayers, prayers for you!!!!

Words cannot express my gratitude! I am so buoyed by your prayers. It is one day, sometimes one hour, at a time embracing His Will.
We have clearly decided to keep the boys home, and I'm very at peace with the decision. But you'll be seeing lots of requests for ideas in the next weeks for help in planning purposeful work for the boys.

Adding our prayers!
Praying specifically for...
This time of planning and preparation - that it will be smooth, purposeful and fruitful so that you have peace that all the practicals are in place for you, Dave and the boys.
For a successful surgery and uncomplicated recovery.
For the boys - it's hard to think about mommy having surgery like this; it's a big thing. Praying that you and Dave will find the right words to explain what is needed and that they feel secure in your love and trust of God's will.
For Dave - I know it's so hard for husbands to see their wives going through things when they'd so much rather take it on themselves.
For you!!!! My friend, keep us posted with your prayer needs and also let us know how you're doing physically with this preparation and recovery! I'm praying specifically for your focus and peace during this time of preparation, especially that you can productively accomplish some practical plans for school and for chore routines. It is such a blessing to rock back on those good habits laid down! I'm praying you have peace about your plans! And, of course, I am praying especially that you are able to guard your thoughts from worry or what-ifs as you steam ahead - and DEFINITELY praying for the physical outcome of this surgery - that it is a RESOUNDING SUCCESS, and that you are rewarded with all the physical benefits from correcting this issue!
Keep us posted on your practical needs so we can brainstorm you through some of this productivity while you prepare!

Somehow I missed this too. Prayers as you prepare yourself and your family mentally, physically, emotionally. Prayers for the dr's caring for you and all the other caregivers for your family while you recuperate.
