Thank you for the update, Erica. We are with you in prayer, for sure!
I am so very thankful for Peter's guardian angel and for everyone who was on the scene, helping and praying. It's a privilege to pray for Peter as he recovers, for his medical team and for your family as you take the steps toward recovery with him.

Ah- the original quote was: endure and save yourself for times of happiness.
I was so upset about Peter that I scrambled the words!
But either way works
I am so glad to read you are letting go of feeling guilty- anyone with children knows that an accident can happen in an instant, even right before your very eyes. But God is so good!
Hopefully Peter will not even remember this someday

Erica, I have been praying since I saw this! I will continue to pray for his recovery, and your peace of mind.
I understand completely about the "desperately needy" feeling, and it not being a comfortable place to be. I, too, am ready for the "lessons" of 2013 to be over!
Many prayers... I am so glad he is recovering.

Many tears of empathy and gratitude. We had a near miss this week as well as moving one our college boys. I'm so eternally grateful both of our babies are doing okay I will continue to pray for your sweet Peter. There will be time to process this...God will supply special graces to you and especially Peter. Thank you for sharing your year with all of us who are right in the trenches with you. This is a special place of Grace.
