Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

2) Bonavita 8 cup Coffee Maker with Thermal Carafe BV 1800TH Marked as Best Buy
It’s $169 on Amazon prime

It is a bit pricey for a coffee pot, but less expensive than the top of the line. I'm just coming back to say I'm super pleased with this coffee maker. The coffee is made in 6 minutes and is fabulously hot and delicious.

I just got back from a week-long beach trip, and was seriously missing a good cup of home brewed coffee. There was a fancy Mr. Coffee Maker that was just awful. It took forever and was just tepid coffee, and horrible tasting. The little things you have to offer up!

Happy to be home to be sipping my home brew. One thing I've been doing is adding some coconut oil to the coffee, and the temperature is hot enough to melt it down lickety split.

Glad you're in (roach free) coffee heaven. But I'm ignorant here -- what does the coconut oil do for the coffee?

It doesn't do anything for the coffee, I'm just finding different ways to add coconut oil to my diet.

Glad to see you have found a good coffee maker and a sneaky way to add cocnut oil. I guess that means you found a brand that does not taste too much like coconut

Yes, I did. Spectrum is tasteless. I was trying Trader Joe's brand this month. It has a faint smell but the taste doesn't linger at all.
