Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

oh and just saing.. if it sugars in a bulk container.. one of those flat head ice cream scoop/shovel is great at scooping it out and it's much less messy that way

Thanks Angela and Jodie. We use a lot of honey too, but it can be expensive so I wasn't sure about buying in bulk if it wasn't going to keep forever. One of my ds's favorite snacks is a bowl of almonds that he dips into a bowl of honey. Talk about messy! I guess there are worse things a 12 year old boy could be eating though!

These little bottles work well for honey. They're kind of pricey, but they are silicone and therefore bpa free.

One of the things we do is to roll the knife when we use honey from a jar, otherwise we use a squeeze bottle like from sobees. Honey, molasses, and maple syrup are all a mess. I always use a plate and wash up afterwards, too.
