I'm so sad to read this! Poor Amy!
I had to leave at the end of a semester and take another off for illness, so I have complete empathy! Prayers for a speedy recovery. She will fare much better under the loving care of her family!

I appologize for not having an update yet....but I don't have one. Amy has seen one dr. for an hour and a half appointment and they feel she has post concussive syndrome. She was immediately sent for an MRI but we don't have the results yet...it is very frustrating.
We all went to Stations of the Cross last night but Amy grew weak and dizzy but managed to sit through the service. Hopefully she just needs time to completely heal.
Grace sees a hearing specialist on February 28th.
Becky sees the surgeons on February 27th to schedule her gall bladder surgery.
I do believe our lent has been chosen for us this year.

Joann, I don't know if you're looking for information on Concussions but this site is a sports website but has some of the best information on concussions I've seen.

2/18--update
Amy has a perfectly normal MRI....thanks be to God!!
Now she just needs to take it easy until she regains her strength, and her dizziness and headache subside.

Keep putting one foot in front of the other, dear Friend....I always approach Lent with my hand across my eyes, barely peeking out to see what is ahead....  probably not the most holy of ways, but some Lents do truly are full of heavy Crosses....I am praying for all of you, in great thanksgiving that Amy is going to be okay and for all of your other sufferings to be handled with God’s Infinite Mercy and Grace!
