Please pray for my sister, Angie Mc, her dh Dave, and children. Dave and his team of psychologists have been depolyed to CT to help assist those affected by the recent tragedy.
We pray for safe travels for Dave and his team and that they all are able to provide what is needed for these families and community.
To my understanding, Dave and many others will most likely not be with their families for Christmas. We pray for the families of this team and all of those who are making personal sacrifices to help with the beginnings of this difficult healing process.
I love my brother-in-law and I'm so proud of him... 
I love my sister and her children. They are strong. 
UPDATE...12/21 Praise be to God! Dave will be home tomorrow. That is all I know for now. Prayers for a safe trip home to his family.

Praying for all those who are helping the families devastated by this terrible tragedy. May the Holy Family sustain them and bring all souls involved profound grace and healing.

We are very grateful for his service to this grieving community (and your sacrifice, Angie). When these tragedies happen there always is a desire to do something to help. Most of us will not be able to help directly - but Dave will and our prayer go with him.

Words fail me. I'm so proud of and grateful for Dave and all those willing to bring their skills and compassion to these families. My heart aches for all of them. Those are not easy spaces to walk into - and I'm so grateful beyond words for the gift of self that Dave, Angie and their family are making for those that are suffering so intensely right now.
May Dave and his colleagues have safe travel, and be imbued with the Holy Spirit to be able to reach these families in their grief. And may the gifts of Our Little Lord this Christmas be experienced most generously so that all these families share in the joy of His birth - even though they may be separated as part of their gift of sacrifice.
