Erica, I was so happy to read your blessed news!  I have been praying for you, for your family, and for baby Rose! Thank you for the update; it's good to hear how the transition is going for you all.
One idea I'll pass on, having had a child with a lot of medical needs. I have a medical notebook in which I keep all of his necessary information. Personal information such as SSN, Insurance info, primary care dr. address and number, and doctors' and therapists' business cards are taped on the inside front and I have dividers for medical tests and growth charts, development/therapy assessments, as well as a page that charts who we saw for treatments and when (believe me, I forget when we need to see these different folks, when we did see them, etc., so this helps). It would probably help to have another sheet for your questions/concerns. I keep medical bills, insurance Explanations of Benefits, and notes on my contacts with the insurance company in a hanging file labeled "Health" on my desk, not in the notebook, as it gets too full.
Dealing with all of the medical stuff can be challenging, but having it all in one place does help a lot.

Erica,
Congratulation! Ihope you know about the tax credit. You should be able to get back 13,500. Make sure you get a letter from the state certifying Rose has special needs. You can then get the full amount regardless of your income. I do not know if this will be renewed next year so if would behelpfulto finalize this year if possible.
