Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

For Pregnancy #2 I took a little blue stuffed bear and had him hold the pregnancy test...and under it a card with the explanation. I put that on the dinner table. Not even looking at the card he caught on right away...but there was a lot of exclamations like "Really!?" "Wow, I can't believe it!"

Congratulations Angela!

Before I conceived this little one a friend picked up six pregnancy tests from the Dollar Store for me. I used five of them, before the test was positive. I was thankful that the five tests combined had only cost $5, plus tax. In the past, we were paying over $7 for a single test.

Thank you everyone! I couldn't sleep...too much . So I decided to come to my favorite forum! It's so nice to know that there are people who know that all children are blessings from God!
I'm really still in a shock over this. I'm not sure why, perhaps I am just overwhelmed by the thought of five children. I truly want to feel happy about this, but mostly I feel panicked. Seems quite illogical since this little one won't arrive right away!

Anyway, thanks for the kind words & the funny stories!

When we had five children, their favorite book was 'Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed'. Oh, your going to have so much fun! It will be wonderful! Congratulations!

Congratulations, Angela! You will do great and many prayers for a happy and healthy pregnancy!!!

And as a side note, which pregnancy tests do you ladies recommend? Which ones detect pregnancy the earliest? Just curious...

First Response. I'll ask so Tim doesn't have have to: are you in the market for a pregnancy test?

Peeonastick.com (hate the name) has a breakdown of the best tests.

Congratulations, Angela!!!

I'm never creative ... my husband usually buys the test,
as he did this week (I always tell him to get at least a double pack.)

Ours was negative, though ....

Blessings to you, and know that God will see you through whatever He allows to happen!

The only one I was creative with was #5.

On Easter Sunday I handed dh a Christmas gift bag with the positive test stick wrapped inside the tissue paper.

Why Christmas gift bag on Easter Sunday? She was due on Christmas Eve...born on Dec. 20th.

Congrats, Angela, from both of us! Tell Christopher I said hello and congratulate him for me, too!

Congratulations -- great news!

And five is a wonderful number of children. (Personally, I am assuming six will be even better! )
