Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Thank you Jenn and Stef. Somehow it seems it worked itself out!

As you suggested Jenn, I googled my problem and came up with lots of links. Apparently this is a common problem. It has to do with the lenses and a gear getting stuck due to sand/moisture/or a blow to the camera. Lots of people have fixed it themselves, because apparently it costs practically as much as a new camera to have Sony repair it, so I really hope this was just a one-time thing and doesn't happen again.

(But just in case I bookmarked a few of the sites. )

Mary and Jenn,

I have a Cyber-shot. I am looking at it now and it says 3x, optical zoom, 7.2 mega-pixels + mpeg movieVX DSC-W7.

I can't tell you what all that means (and dh just ran to pick up the pizza so I can ask him when he gets back).

I can say I love my camera ...

Hi,
Dawn are you still using the Cybershot or did you upgrade?
I need to find a new camera
I have a Nikon Coolpix 4500 that the flash no longer works.

Is Cybershot still your first choice since it has been almost a year since the last post in this topic
Thank you for any assistance!
Jacque
