Our oldest, who is now 20, is a lefty. I knew it when he started holding rattles in his left hand as a baby. But curiouly enough he does so many things right handed like soccer, guitar...I never really thought much about him being a lefty as his father is left handed, too, and makes jewelry and everything else without a thought as to being left handed!

With schooling, I never gave him anything different than the other children. He has his own woodshop in our basement and builds guitar cabinets. Now I'm going to ask him if being left-handed has ever been a problem to him!

Now I'm feeling like I've been a little insensitive all these years! oopsy!
