My husband and I recently received surprising and exciting news of expecting #4! However, I was in the middle of a flare in my colitis. The many trips to the bathroom has caused much pain and my nausea is so bad throughout the day, it makes it difficult to eat. What nutrients I can get down me goes out in the bathroom. I know I've lost so much weight and I'm weak.
Please pray for my healing and the health of this precious little soul.
UPDATE 8/2
After spending the day in the hospital on Sunday, they were finally able determine I had no blood clots. I've spent the last several days with more bleeding, increase in pain, and even more loss of mobility with my arms. I saw my GI doctor yesterday who is helping get this flare in my colitis under control while keeping the baby safe.
Unfortunately, I miscarried this morning. My heart is just aching. I trust in the Lord and His plan. I pray for peace with this loss.
I can't thank you all enough for your prayers.

... wanted to write in to let you all know that my sister, Mary, needs more prayers. She is weak, losing weight too rapidly and cannot eat solids. She hasn't slept and is getting weaker. Please pray for her and her baby! This is a very serious situation. Her colitis is dangerously aggressive.

I will be praying for Mary. I had similar problems after my sixth baby. I had to wean her, and the doctor ended up putting me on some serotonin-type drug to calm my system down. It only took a few weeks before I began to regain my strength, but I ended up needing a little extra help while I fully recovered.
I pray that the doctor will be able to prescribe something that will not hurt the baby, but will allow her to heal.

Just an update for you all. First, thank you for praying. Mary is not out of the woods yet.
She spent the day in the ER, there is a good possibility that she has a blood clot (she has been on blood thinners with all of her pregnancies), yet she is not far enough along in her pregnancy that if she were to be put on blood thinners, she would surely miscarry.
Please continue to pray for her and her precious baby.
