Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Thanks for the correct link, Michele.
You've had it a year, right? How has it held up? Are you glad that you bought it?

Hi Jen,
I bought that same set last year after the conversation here. I really like it. I think the plates are really big. They are bigger than both my Pfalzgraf set and my Corelle. I love the size of the larger bowls and the teacups.

But I have to admit that we have chipped a few pieces, and I am disappointed about that. We are not rough with dinnerwear at all, and I don't even know how or when the chips occured. Since there are 12 place settings it doesn't bother me as much as it might because we will rarely be using all of them at once.

I also have some old Corelle, which I like for simple family dinners. I had lost a few and didn't have enough matching ones for everyone. I recently bought two more dinner plates at Walmart, so we can use them as a set again. I almost prefer the Corelle to the stonewear for family dinners, but I'm happy to have nice matching stonewear for special occasions and guests too.
