Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Me too!

I like how she mixes mediums a lot without it being overwhelming

Fwiw, I ended up getting K and 2 for my preK, 1st, and 3 rd graders. I'd intended to sort of alternate or something, but so far, I've only done the K, and my 3rd grader still enjoys the lessons while they are challenging but doable for the 4 year old.

Melinda, do you do the lessons separately with the different levels, or does everyone do the lessons not for their grade regardless of level?

I am not sure what I will do when we start the 2nd grade lessons. I think I might have to be more involved so the 4 year old can still participate.

This is really the only thing that muddles me about using this program, but it isn't really the program, it is just the factor of using any program while having multiple ages who ALL flock to be involved anytime art supplies or paint or anything is out. I think I will have to consider having some simple supplies on hand (a la Don't Move the Muffin Tins or Mary Kohl) for the younger two to work independently while the older two follow the more advanced lessons. I say younger two because I don't think that Little Bear will distract the 22 month old much longer

Right now we alternate between doing grade 2 and grade 4. Having said that- we have done more grade 2 lessons because ds is more willing to do the grade 2 than dd is willing to do grade 4.

Grade 4 is more involved, but she can and has done them fairly easily. That is not to say that her version has turned out just like the demo, but she can still do them without help from me.

I do the lessons with them, and I have to say that they are fun and challenging for *me*, as an adult, so I don't see any problem at all in playing to the youngest level and letting everyone join in. I even have my own homemade art portfolio with my work for the year so far in it

I find doing the lessons myself very enjoyable and relaxing.
