Thank you prayer warriors! The family is grateful for all the prayers and know that nothing short of a miracle will save William. The hospital staff continue to bring his temperature up slowly. It will take several more hours before he is back to normal body temperature. At that point the doctors can test for brain activity and then either disconnect him from the machines or wait another 8-12 hours and reassess again. Keep praying for a miracle!
Please also especially pray for his 8 older siblings who are having a very difficult time as well.

I've just learned that William's body temp is normal and doctors have run tests. They have not shown any brain activitiy. Please don't stop praying. We are still praying for a miracle! We know that God answers prayers in many ways. So many of us here are praying and ready to help the family with whatever they need. Their closer friends have been in and out of the hospital to see them. Both sets of grandparents are here as well to be with the children. They are surrounded with love. Please continue to pray for the family, especially William's brothers and sisters.

A very sad update- William is off the machines and has passed from here to Heaven. We are comforted that he is with our Lord. Please continue to pray for the entire family in your prayers. I cannot imagine their grief at this moment, especially tonight and tomorrow. Thank you for your prayers.

Some of you have asked how you can help the family. #1 - Keep praying. This is such a tough time and they need to stay covered in prayers. If you have a Mass said for them, maybe you could PM me so that I could gather a spiritual bouquet to someday show them. #2 A friend has set up a paypal donation account. If you pm me I can send you the e-mail to paypal donations to to help with medical bills. The father is self employed. Thanks again.
Also, the Funeral will be Monday afternoon with visitation/Rosary Sunday night. Please especially pray during those times.

From the mother, a note to all who have been praying for their family. She wrote this yesterday. I am so blessed by her faith:
I would like to express my profound gratitude for all the love and support that has been showered upon our family. We all prayed for a miracle and God answered us above and beyond by taking our sweet William and making him a saint in heaven to live in eternal joy with Him. I now have more motivation to live the Christian life we are called to live so that I can one day see my son again.
