Yes! Yes! An invisible fence! A gentle one of course. I envision an alarm going off when the intruder approaches the banned area.(say like when the toddler makes it into the bathroom and proceeds to squeeze out all the toothpaste?) Then, a net would drop, softly of course, the net would feel like....a hug. It would hold the offender until I am able to waddle over and release him. *sigh*

Totally agreeing on something that keeps the dirt outside. How to encourage outdoor time without causing more clean up time from me.
Ah, thought of another! We are in a major reorganization of the toys. My biggest need? A Lego magnet/vacuum to pick up ONLY the Legos. Sorting accessory comes separately but would be used often here.

I think the whole bathroom should be set up like a giant shower stall. When you want to clean it, you flip a switch, and a brief high-pressure burst of hot water scours the whole thing and drains out through a drain in the floor. You'd have to take your towels out first. But I could handle that. |

I'm pretty sure there are pay toilets in Europe that work exactly like this. If they ever do a whole bathroom version that can be retrofitted into my house you can sign me up!
Lindsay-
What you need for your freezer are the neoprene gloves they sell for foul weather sailing.

oh and I figured out the freezer.. it should work like a vending machine.. you open it and clip the new item to it and it takes it into the freezer and puts it away.. and it retrieves the item you want and drops it into the slot for you to pick up.

A mop that fills itself and moves all by itself to clean up the mess when my ds3 once again leaves it too late before he heads to the bathroom. When are robots going to be released onto the market??

I have a pair of gloves Lindsay originally asked for. They are made of neoprene I think. Go to Walmart look in the fishing section think ice fishing They are called PowerGrab Thermo. The hardest part is keeping them by the deep freeze when I carry up the food Annie Oh by the way you can keep your right arm

The other day doing dishes it came to me...self-cleaning muffin tins! I hate cleaning them - worst kitchen item to wash ever. So I leave mine sitting in the sink often, "until I have more time." So that's what I want to see invented and why I bumped the thread from this time last year.

Good one! I am embarrassed at how long muffin tins soak in my sink Even when you use paper liners, somehow it is a MESS!
Maybe the silicone ones that pop out the other way are easier?

you need paper liners with collars.. you know.. a piece that would lay flat on top of the muffin tin so that the drip and the "poof" of the muffin would be on paper too
