Hi everyone,
I'm asking for your wonderful prayers. I have a hysterectomy scheduled for Thursday afternoon. (Jan 12) For years I have had heavy prolonged bleeding and constant cramping. So after seeing multiple doctors (some Catholic)and trying multiple alternatives to correct my problems, my doctors said that a hysterectomy is my only remaining option. I have already mourned terribly at the thought of not having more children for God since the last procedure they tried was a Uterine Ablation. That procedure almost totally takes away fertility. But I felt then, as I do again, I need to be a healthy wife and mother to the family God has already so graciously given me. Though it breaks my heart! 
The doctor is afraid I may have scar tissue from my c-sections, so he's not willing to give me a set length of time for my hospital stay (He just says 2 to 5 days)
I have to fast starting Wednesday morning at 10 AM. That's making me a bit jittery. I'm a small person and I get weak and dizzy if I skip just one meal, but to not eat for almost 30 hours before the start of my surgery!?!?! My Husband may have to carry me into the hospital! LOL!! ;-)
I'm looking forward to Thursday night when it's all over.
But God's will be done!
Please pray for my Mother too! My sweet mother will be helping to watch our 9 kids. Our kids are well behaved, but our baby, who's 8 months old is very attached to me. So this will make things a bit harder for him and my Mother.

UPDATE:
Thanks you for all your prayers! The surgery went very well. They had a hard time waking me up after the surgery. Then, I couldn't keep anything I tried to eat down. So the first 24 hours where rough. I'm feeling much better now and I'm ready to go home!
Of course, I must consider how my belly will suddenly have a gigantic target on it when I see all my little darlings! You know how young children have a built-in sensor for an adult's most tender spots, and then they have to pounce on it!! 
By God's grace I was able to keep my one ovary. So I won't go through early menopause, I 'm very happy for that! 
Thanks again for all your prayers! And in a few weeks I hope to be conquering the world....or at least my "Things I need to do" list!

Dear Jen You will remain in my prayers. This is so NOT easy, I know. Your symptoms are much more extreme than mine were, but I still noticed a dramatic increase in energy after the recovery from the OP. Simply put - my overall health improved.
And prayers for your family during your OP and recovery.
