I have not stopped praying for Maggie!
I did hear via another yahoo message group that Maggie was discharged from the hospital and was at home recovering. I think both she and Michele are just exhausted, and I know they both appreciate continued prayers.

We're home. Poor Maggie is just wiped out. DKA wreaks havoc on the body and the poor child really hasn't recovered since her first DKA at diagnosis 3 years ago. As the Dr. explained her body doesn't have reserves to draw from so it's far too easy for her to slip back into ketosis.
We're going to double our efforts to boost her immune system. Good food, supplements, herbs whatever.
AND Fr. is coming over to anoint her today.
Thank you all for your prayers, I truly felt them!

Your daughter will be kept in our prayers, Michelle! I am so sorry she had to go through all that. This must be very hard on your mother's heart. Prayers for strength and peace and that her immune system will have the strength of St. Michael!
