Dear Friends in Christ,
My name is Mary and I am Chris V's sister. I am writing on her behalf as she is currently on her way to the hospital to be induced for her twins. Would take a moment to say a prayer with me for a safe delivery and good health to her and her babies? All of your kind words and prayers during her pregnancy have given her and her entire family such peace and comfort. Thank you all  I will keep you posted as I receive updates on her progress. Bless you all!
O great Saint Gerard, beloved servant of Jesus Christ, perfect imitator of your meek and humble Savior, and devoted child of Mother of God, enkindle within my heart one spark of that heavenly fire of charity which glowed in your heart and made you an angel of love. O glorious Saint Gerard, because when falsely accused of crime, you did bear, like your Divine Master, without murmur or complaint, the calumnies of wicked men, you have been raised up by God as the patron and protector of expectant mothers. Preserve (Chris V) from danger and from the excessive pains accompanying childbirth, and shield the children which she now carries, that they may see the light of day and receive the purifying and life-giving water of baptism through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

 Chris gave birth just a few minutes ago to her beautiful little girls, 6 minutes apart! Mom and babies are doing well! Tears of JOY!
Good St. Gerard, patron of mothers, assist me in thanking God for the great gift of motherhood. During the months of Chris' waiting, she learned to call upon you and placed the safety of her children and herself under your powerful protection. The great lesson of your trust in God sustained her; your slogan, "God will provide," became her hope and consolation. We thank God for healthy babies and her own good health. Help her to prize the great treasure of motherhood and obtain for her the grace to raise her children as children of God. Amen
