Will pray, Chris. We had a similar scare around 33 weeks - a doctors appt lasted til midnight... I think I was having contractions and some dilation. So I got the shot for the lung development, and went on bed rest. At 36 1/2 I was allowed to get up and move and at 37, 2 they were born 5 lb 9 oz and 5 lb 10 oz healthy baby boys. I will keep you in my prayers as I chase my little boys around this weekend. Blessings!

Prayers for you and your family. The good news you are 34 weeks.
I had both sets of triplets at 30 weeks. Contractions with multiples are way diffetent than singleton pregnancies. Once you actually can feel them, they can cause dialation. I just to feel for tightening with my hand, rather than wait to feel for contractions.
Good luck, remember you are in the home stretch now.

Saw your update, Chris. Thanks for letting us know. I feel for you and totally understand wanting to wait as long as possible if there is not actual indication of the need to intervene earlier. Will be praying for you!!

Still praying, Chris. Twins are so nervewracking. Are your babies identical and do they share a sac, too? Are they worried that the umbilical cords will be tangled? Or is it just that one of your twins is a lot smaller than the other and they're concerned about her growth?

We don't know if they are identical or not. The girls each have their own sac, but they are sharing one placenta. And there in lies the concern. Baby B is smaller than Baby A; their approximation is that she is smaller by a pound. Everyone acknowledges that these are just approximations at weight, but it's all they have to go on, and she's consistently been smaller the entire time. The concern is that because they share a placenta that Baby A is getting more nutrients than Baby B, and there's no real way of knowing whether or not this is actually happening. So they had me go in for another U/S that has a special doppler that can measure the pressure/flow resistance in each of the umbilical cords. The result of that showed that there is an elevated flow resistance in Baby B's umbilical cord, but not outside of what is considered to be "adequate", however it did raise some red flags.
Thankfully, my OB has recommended our course of action to just be "watch and wait". So I will continue going in mulitple times per week for NST's. I'm confident that I can make it to 36 weeks - which is only a week and a half away at this point - and if my little girls are still doing well, then my OB will just allow the pregnancy to continue until I go into labor on my own. Both girls are head down (praise God! and all my love and thanks to Mother Mary who surely got tired of me saying 1000 Hail Mary's each day in my effort to get Baby A to turn ). God willing my babies stay safe and healthy, I'm confident that I will go into labor on my own, and deliver these two little girls naturally .
I feel so uplifted today. I feel relief. And I feel hopeful once again because I feel that my doctors and I are working together rather than at odds.
I can't thank everyone enough for your prayers. Just the thought that others are praying for me and my girls is enough to drop me to my knees and give thanks for all of you on this forum who so fervently pray for others.
Holding all of YOUR intentions in my prayers as well.
