I just spoke with my mom...they've been in the waiting room for 4 hours. So, to me, that's a good sign - if it were really a problem, she'd already be in.

I haven't heard yet from them...and I actually slept well last night so your prayers were very effective!
My mom said that she'd call me this morning but I imagine that if they hadn't yet been seen at 10:00 last night, that they're wiped out...
From what I understand treating the thyroid is complicated because the meds have to keep being tweaked. I'm hoping that that is all that it is. Minus yesterday, for the 4 days previous, my sister sounded like I hadn't heard her in years - full of joy! That's not to sound like sibling rivalry  , but her thyroid had bothered her so much unknowingly, that she had been in a lot of pain! So, I'm hoping that the "tweaking of the meds" is all that this is...
I'll post as soon as I know something!

I got word today that my sister is okay and that this is indeed a process of recovery.
I am very grateful to all of you who take time out of your busy schedules to write to me and to pray for my intentions. It means a great deal to me and I just wanted to let you all know.

Hi Ladies,
Suzie is back in the hospital. This time with heart-related problems.
I am feeling shaky and frustrated. I want to ask if this is related to the medicine for thyroid but neither she nor my mom want to be on the phone for any length of time and my mom is exhausted. Not to mention, I'm considered "the difficult one" in the family so they're not really open to me. This is the 7th time my sister has been either to or in the hospital in the last 4 weeks. This doesn't count all of the interim doctor visits.
Anyway, thanks again for your prayers.

Praying for your sister and all of her doctors and nurses. May Blessed Mother be with your mother and give her some rest and peace. May angels be with you, Maria, as it must be awful to feel the family is less than open with you. You are doing a great deal to have Suzie on our prayer list and keep her needs before us.
