Macaroons = coconut
Macarons = French almond cookie thingies ;) - only four ingredients - almond flour, egg whites, flavoring/coloring and sugar, plus the filling |

Meant to add that no wonder I was confused! Macarons look and sound wonderful. I love almonds but have never tried almond flour. Must be good. I am drooling...

We make hotel DuPont Macaroons, which I suppose must be more like macarons. No colors, just almond paste, sugar, and eggs. An amazing cookie!

You are all making me hungry.
I have enjoyed this retreat, but it has not been long enough, and tomorrow is Sunday
