When my lilacs bloom on my lilac bushes. One purple, and one white, both were given to me by my family for Mother's Day, and are dear to my heart.

The other sign is when Mary comes out of the garage, and is perched in her place of honor to keep watch over her soon to be Mary Garden!

Thanks for the information on the lilacs, Viv and Karen. It looks like I'll have to be patient for awhile. At least the plants look healthy and have lots of bright green leaves and have definitely grown since last year.
