I haven't heard anything, yet, anyway. I am hoping to sometime soon, but unfortunately there is no guarantee, as I was among the 4th set of people it was forwarded to. I am super curious also and really hoping someone gets back to me - I took it upon myself to contact the nurse's mother to ask to be on her update list, so we'll see what happens.

I JUST received this update:
(And I'll leave the name in since they left it in.)
To everyone who has been praying for Lenny.
She had surgery today. It went well. They took the baby out and the baby is doing well. Over five pounds. Lenny is recovering well and breathing well.
They did not remove the placenta. There will be another surgery at some as yet unspecified time.
Thank you all for your prayers. Please keep praying.

Oh, thanks be to God!!! God is so good!! I will continue to pray for the removal of the placenta (how long can that be left, can't be long, can it?) and that Lenny will be able to come through that surgery as well and return to health and her precious babe.

Thank you, dear Heavenly Father, for all of Thy many blessings!
I just received another notice I thought those of you praying for her may like to know of:
Lenny may not need any further surgery. The doctors will do more surgery if she needs it, if she starts bleeding.
It seems the prayer need now is that she will not need more surgery.
This is the best possible outcome so far. Everyone please remember to not be like the nine lepers.
Thank God for this grace we all hoped to see.

Another update:
The surgeons were hoping the placenta would atrophy. It is not cooperating. Lenny is on a drug that has her pretty wiped out. They are watching her closely. My daughter visited her and told her that there are probably tens of thousands of people praying for her. She wept.
We are grateful to God for her baby's life. Now we need another effort to get her safely through this. She has been in bed for three months and would feel terrible even without complications. Please pray that she get healthy and home fast and that there be no permanent harm.

Another update:
Lenny had a procedure today to stop blood flow to the placenta. It sounded to me like they did something to the arteries that supply the blood. Some of the placenta is in the uterus and some is outside. The part in her uterus is eventually expected to be expelled. They hope the inside part will dissolve. Again this is my interpretation of what I heard. When the inside part is expelled there will be some bleeding. It is expected there will be another surgery. She is doing ok for now, but her doctor thinks the most dangerous part of this is still to come. It may take some time for it all to happen.
Please keep her in your prayers.
