A pic from Day 2 for all you dear cyber aunties  Thank you, thank you for all your prayers, it meant the world to know you were all praying.
We are home from the hospital today, (Day 2) and are both doing really well.
It was a different labour, long 14hrs + and yet not that intense for lots of the time, as labour had trouble establishing. I was blessed to have lots of sleep on and off throughout the night. It was more the worry of having the syntocinon at the end. However my darling was born healthy and a whooping 9lb10oz! our second biggest now, and very long etc. He was born with the membranes over his head, rare apparently, 1 in 80,000.
I did end up hemorrhaging so your prayers were an extra blessing.
Thank you for sharing our excitement and so pleased you like the name. Remember you all helped.

Sebastian was what we call born in the caul- An old wives tale says its extra lucky and said that babes born like this never drown. Midwives pride themselves on not removing the membranes and allowing the process to do this instead.
