Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Our pediatrician offers tests like that, but not all insurances cover them.

Just thought I'd add that we have seen some terrible cases of chicken pox in a couple adult friends with one in particular having it in his stomach causing hours/days of excruciating pain in his stomach. Chicken pox can definitely be bad in adults. We thankfully were able to expose all of our oldest kiddos.

My dd had one vaccine as an infant. We had her titer checked this year, and she still has very high immunity levels (she is 6 now). There is no need to revaccinate her at this point.

I agree that it is all confusing as mud. My father had chicken pox as an adult and missed over a month of work. All the kids had it, and my mother was astounded when he came down with it as well.
