I'm so touched to find such warm and kind comments from all of you! I'm not surprised though - you are such a lovely and dear group of ladies to me!!!!
Today has been a lovely and simple day so far! I'm enjoying sunshine, snuggling, reading time, a delightful conversation with my teen, and look forward to no-cooking tonight since my dd and dh have planned a simple (but favorite) shrimp scampi dinner for me!!!!!! Cake will be a decadent chocolate with vanilla drizzle...enjoyed on Sunday. Today is a big birthday - I'm 40!  Feels great!
And what a joy to read all of your  notes! You all inspire me to be a better person - I thank each of you for the gift of yourself!
Special hugs go out to my fellow-birthday-ladies, Jenn and Martha! May God continue to bless us!

As the Senior Jennifer (today marks 44 for me), I have to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. This was one of my exhausting days, out almost the whole day, and it was such a joy to open this thread.

And Happy Birthday to Jen and Martha, too! Such wonderful ladies to share the same birthday! I feel like I'm in such good company. Can I ride on your coattails?
