Fuzzy and baby are doing very well! Deo Gratias!
Baby boy was born at 9:00 am, 9 pounds, 8 ounces, 20 inches.
Fuzzy was doing so well she called my mother with the news! I'm so relieved!

Update 6/14: Fuzzy's c-section was scheduled for Thursday, but her water broke this morning. She's in surgery now. Prayers appreciated!

Ladies, I could really use some prayers. I am *only* 6 months along and this pregnancy has really been tough. I am in so much pain every.single.day. I feel that everything is falling down around me and I can't seem to do much about it. My husband and my kids are so patient, but it seems that I have a really long way to go until the end, and I know this is just going to get harder. I need to remember to offer up my suffering, and remember that God has given me my own penance this Lent.
Thanks so much for the prayers, and letting me complain just a bit.
Update:
I'm now on the gestational diabetes diet. At least it's only diet-controlled. I had this last pregnancy, too.
Update #2:
Thank you so much for your prayers! They are helping so much! I have new sacrifices this lent as I am on to the insulin stage of my gestational diabetes - which I have never done. I am very nervous, but I feel your prayers.

Update #4 4/9/11 pm:
Fuzzy was sent home with antibiotics, saying it was a kidney infection.
Update #5 4/10/11 pm:
Fuzzy woke up with great pain, back to the ER. She was admitting. They suspect kidney stone.
Update #6 4/11/11 pm:
No stone was passed so she had surgery late last night to insert a stent, and the stent revealed a bad infection, so she's in the hospital for a few more days for stronger antibiotics.
Thanks for the prayers. There is a lot of juggling for her other 3 children and their needs...and just Fuzzy's comfort!
Update #7 4/13/11:
I visited with Fuzzy yesterday, and she's doing so much better. But today the CDC informed her they can't ID the pus/bacteria. She will have to have a PICC line all the way through Easter for IV antibiotics. She should come home tomorrow if it all goes well.
The upside is her need for insulin is going down, so she might even discontinue it after all this. Seems the infection was the source of the stress to her body.
Please pray extra hard for this transition to home.

Praying! Can you get any help for the pain you have? I had a few hard pregnancies and I have to say....that when you hold that new sweetness in your arms you are transformed...even if slowly at first. My little angel is 6mo and I am deeply in love with her and I feel so privileged to have carried her near my heart during my pregnancy. My pain and symptoms belonged to my body. She was kept safe and warm right beneath my heart.
I will keep you in my continued prayers!!

Donna Marie, I am trying to get some relief with a chiropractor, and she has recommended prenatal massage as well, but some of the areas that are the most painful seem to be the areas that we aren't really able to pinpoint the cause. I really appreciate your kind words, and I am so looking forward to holding him in my arms.

I had a pregnancy like this too! Please be easy on your self. Try to find comfort where you can and splurge on little things to help make the time more enjoyable.
You are definitely in my prayers!!!!!!!!!!

Fuzzy, I'm praying for you! I have just come from a pregnancy like that and so empasthize with the difficulty of what you're experiencing!!! I'm sorry you are suffering so. You are doing such a good job in seeing the ability to offer it up. Don't get down on yourself if you sometimes have to "just get it out". A wonderful and freeing thing my dh has said to me a couple of times, with love and patience, "you have to say what you're going through, or no one can know you need help". That statement relieved the burden of feeling I wasn't being "good enough" at offering it up when I vocalized my pain/sufferings at times. For our children and husbands sake we have to accept help and not overburden ourselves, while at the same time we can try not to whine in our vocalizing, there-in-lies the portion that can be our offering up. I want in my heart to be like the saints or Our Lord who could suffer in silence, which at times I can, but other times I know that if I focus so hard on trying to do that it builds up, and I am less able in my spirit to focus on patience with children, etc. Many hugs(gentle ones  ) and prayers.
