Thank you, friends, for your prayers for my sister. She is doing better, is not in too much pain, but still losing a lot of blood everyday. She has a long road to recovery, but it seems is over the immediate crisis. Both she and I are tremendously grateful for your prayers. There are times that I am moved beyond words for this community of beautiful woman who grace my life, pray so fervently for the behalf of others, and share so fully of themselves. Love to you all. Praising God that I'm here with you 
**Update, March 17**
Friends, she isn't doing well. Not at all. I spoke with her briefly today ... things are bad. She was nearly ready to make the decision to go to the ER. Though she is not in tremendous pain (pain, yes, but manageable) her blood loss is absolutely frightening. She is weak. Pail. And losing weight rapidly.
I am on my knees begging you for prayer on her behalf.

Oh Chris,
I can sympathize so strongly with where you're sitting!! As another sibling that is watching her dearest brother's health go downhill at what seems a breakneck speed, I understand this concern for a dear sister, and know it is painful.
And we've faced the indecision over the ER.... "do we take him to the ER or not...is this serious enough or not...where do we draw the line and just go???" We've faced it twice so far.
I know you know this, but since we're in the same game together....I'll share my game plan --> GUARD -- TRUST -- PRAY.
Keep your heart and your thoughts in the moment - God's grace and His peace are only right here, right now. Just as God generously provided the children of Israel manna one day at a time, He provides grace for the day, one moment at a time. We can trust that His grace will be present in the next moment, but we cannot anticipate what that moment will be because it could be crippling. You can't go too far ahead with your thoughts. GUARD THEM!!!
TRUST that in all these painful, sometimes confusing symptoms, God's plan is mysteriously unfolding. We can't see all the seeds He may be planting, all the work He is doing with the suffering our dearest siblings are enduring, but we can trust. And TRUST that He loves them in a way and with a depth that is beyond our imagining and desires their salvation.
And PRAY. Which I absolutely know you are doing! And I am joining you!! Standing right here at the foot of this cross with you. Thanks be to God that Our Lady is here, too!

Chris, praying for your sister as she continues to experience such serious health problems. I am particularly asking God to send His Holy Spirit to give guidance and wisdom in making decisions about when/whether to go to the hospital. I am begging Our Lady, Help of Christians, to intercede for you, your sister and your entire family, and obtain for you all the peace of Christ which passes all understanding and that absolute trust in the goodness and perfection of the plan of God that Jennifer spoke of above.
Jesus, I trust in You!

Adding my prayers for your sister, Chris! We have a history of autoimmune diseases in our family. They are terrible to endure! May your sister be strengthened and pass this crisis soon!
