Praying for you and your family. I am thankful that you both are seeking counseling. I cannot imagine you navigating these treacherous waters alone, scared, and unsure of how to handle the situation. Praying for healing. And forgive me for being too forthcoming, but I pray to our merciful Father in Heaven that he NEVER, EVER abuses you again (or that of your children).

I have been praying since this intention was posted. Praise God that you are both able to get help.

I see much hope in your situation. You have had 5 years of very good and happy. This sudden change in behavior, this outburst, can be related to so many things - pressure, ill health, inexperience coping, etc. that with good intervention, this doesn't need to happen again. Learning good preventive strategies is a great way to begin sorting through your current situation. Try your best to take care of today and not get too far ahead of yourself.

May your famile be protected from the evil one and may truth, peace, and love prevail.

when i read your post i could not believe my eyes, it seemed what you were describing was exactly what happened to us 4 months ago!

Since then I have been blessed to have a change in our hearts and lives, the Holy Spirit is working through it all and I feel fortunate of the help i have been sent on my way.

Please feel free to ask more questions if you want, as sometimes it is easy when we see others in the same boat, and I will pray for your family and ask God for healing and blessings.
