Oh, poor little Lily! That breaks my heart. 
Praying for wisdom for the doctors as they juggle all of her health issues and decide what is best for her and in what order. May the Holy Spirit guide you all as well to what is best, and may Lily's pain be eased during the time of waiting!

So, they might have to close the stoma, and then a few weeks later, repair the hernia. This is just my sort of educated guess.

I'm just seeing this update. Poor, sweet little Lily! Praying for her so much!!! It goes without saying that you're in my prayers, too, and I'm sending the biggest box of digital chocolates I've got your way!!! I won't be sending digital chocolate to the doctors....but I'm definitely praying for them as they reason the best approach for Lily!
