Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I like lemon scents. But I'm not to the point of using essential oils yet. When I get started on making my homemade liquid dishwashing soap, then I'll be getting some, though.

I use Mrs Meyers on the granite in the kitchen, Sol-u-Guard if there has been raw meat around. I do seal them every year or so. I haven't noticed any problems.

We've been using Dr Bonners (sp?) stuff. lasts forever!! (seems expensive, but it really goes a LONG WAY)
Or vinegar. I'd like to use some shaklee stuff, but that seems spendy too.

Never thought to add essential oils to the vinegar...good idea. As a side note, I use apple cider vinegar as a hair rinse for my daughters, the other day during mass my husband whispered" hey, Julia smells like potato chips!"... Guess I used too much
