Silly me, you mentioned there wasn't an obstruction. Did the doc give you anything to help him pass all that stool? We struggle with chronic constipation around here and found Miralax to be great-it's a stool softener and laxative and easy to take.

Patrick is doing worse and we're headed back to the doctor in the morning. He has developed a yeast infection that is not going away with treatment, he continues to poop like there's no tomorrow (where is all that coming from???) and he's sad, sad, sad. I spent the morning (and much of the day, for that matter) in tears for my poor little guy. Thanks for any prayers you can send our way.

Praying for your little one.
Maybe some probiotics would help and I second calendula...especially the Weleda Diaper-Care it contains zinc oxide with calendula and chamomile ..those three together work incredibly.
Hoping he has relief soon..he sounds miserable

Oh this has just been awful. Long story short, two days of flu followed by 5 days now of gastroenteritis. Ended up with Greer's Goo for the diaper rash and it seems to be helping. I think he's finally on the upswing.
In the meantime, yesterday I started feeling faint and nauseaus and can't eat or drink (and it continues today) and my 8yo ds is throwing up. Truly, there has been someone sick since New Years (mostly me with morning sickness) and I honestly don't know how much more of it I can take.
