Thank you everyone! Dominic Thomas and I just got home from the hospital. He is a sweet little guy with reddish hair and blond eyebrows. He weighed in at 8 lbs even, my 2nd smallest! So far, he is peaceful and a good nurser.
His birth was interesting. Contractions started in earnest around 8pm. We got to the hospital around 9:30. The nurse checked me and said I was around 5cm, which was really discouraging because the contractions felt stronger than that. They admitted me and moved me to a room. The contractions got very overwhelming very quickly and I panicked and asked for the epidural. The nurse never checked me but called for the epidural. When they sat me up to do it, my water broke, I laid back in time for Court to catch the baby coming out. They hadn't even called the doctor!
The kids are admiring him and waiting for their chance to love him!
Off to enjoy my babymoon. Thanks for all the prayers and congratulations!
