Right now with the mountain passes being closed and we are having a VERY heavy winter we have a bunch of mountain closures. lol We got 6 inches of snow in the Bremerton area the other night

When we were stationed in Washington winter did seem to last forever!

I too am military. I know there are few NFP only docs in the military and most likely there are none where you are now. And the only one I knew was an Family Practice doc. I had a friend who was a military spouse and in order to see an NFP only doctor had to go Tricare Standard. There are some downsides to going standard, especially if you lots of other medical issues, but for her it was worth it.

Another option is to have your doctor write a consult for you to see a specialist. The consult has to be very specific. My son saw an outside the military specialist for something this past year and stayed Tricare Prime. It took some running around to get them to approve it, but in the end they did.

Mary, thank you for the tips. I am going to try and wait and see after my HSG and see what the outcome of that is, hopefully it will give me some more definitive answers as to what is going on.

I can probably get a referral for a consult out in town. There is an NFP dr in Bremerton that I found via the One More Soul website and he takes tricare, he's listed on the provider website.
