My suburb is fine, we shouldn't have any troubles at all, a blessing. So we are a bit like you, doing well personally but things looking really bad all around. I'm supposed to go and have my 3 week check up with the surgeon tomorrow, that might be interesting...I don't want to miss it but it will depend on the water situation..

Boy, getting horses out of water filled paddocks, not a dull moment there.

Thousands of Brisbane residents have been evacuated, 6000 homes are under threat. The Brisbane River will peak today and stay at peak for three days.

Death toll has risen to 10, and 7 people are still missing.

Small villages along the Clarence are being evacuated and we are bracing for the worst this afternoon in the Clarence Valley. Grafton itself it predicted at this stage to be safe due to our levee wall.

We thank you for all your prayers for our Nation, please keep praying.

30 suburbs of Brisbane have been inundated by flood waters, including many businesses, thousands have been evacuated. I know my aunt and cousin were evacuated this afternoon.

Search teams are now looking for the missing in Grantham, 2 more dead have been found, many still missing.

Here in the Clarence Valley, 200o residents down river have been evacuated. The Clarence River at Grafton River is at 7.6m, prediction is peaking at 7.7. As the levee wall is 8.2 we are still hopeful. Other towns north-west of here have been evacuated and inundated by flood waters.

We have woken up to the news this morning that the Brisbane River peaked at a lower level than expected, Praise God    Peaked at 4.6m instead of 5.2. This means thousands of less homes and businesses were effected. Thousands still were inundated though.

Here in the Clarence, the River peaked at 4.62, less than predicted too and the River is receding.

Prayers are still needed as people wait; for the search of the missing, for the water to recede, and then the aftermath.
