Blood work came back normal.    Now I have to make the decision on if I want to go to the cardiologist for an EKG and/or a halter monitor. I'm afraid to open up these kinds of doors. My husband and I will talk it over to decide what's next. BTW...my heart has stopped pounding, but I have tightness in my chest.      Could all this be because I will be 39 in a couple weeks! [:/]

The cardiologist instantly said that it is normal. Since I am hopeful for more children, I am going to do 2 more tests. I am wearing a monitor now and I will go back for an ekg next Monday. This way, if I ever have this happen while pregnant or any other time, I can have piece of mind that it is normal...for me. I had some skipped heart beats while I was there, but not the fast heart beat that scared me. That's why I'm wearing the monitor. So, I'm hopeful nothing else comes out of this. It sure seems encouraging!
